Inpesction of dog slaughter in northern Ghana

Sadly, and shockingly, this is what the WACPAW/EonA team documented while inspecting dog slaughterplaces in northern Ghana. Dogs have their front legs brutally tethered behind their backs, their mouths taped shut and then their throats are slit. This is common practice in the dogmeat trade around the world. WACPAW/EonA organize big Animal-Welfare conference in northern Ghana

WACPAW and Eyes on Animals organized a conference on Animal Behavior and Welfare in Bolgatanga (northern region of Ghana) focusing on addressing animal cruelty  especifically in the meat-trade of dogs and donkeys.
