Today seven animal transports with breeding cattle from Austria and the Czech Republic pass the Turkish border at Kapikule. Drama at the EU/Turkey border
Again drama at the Bulgarian/Turkish border. This time it concerns 28 pregnant buffalos from northern Italy. They are being blocked inside the border because of a mistake in the paper-work. Inspection Dutch spent-hens loaded onto truck destined for slaughter in Poland
A team from EonA and AWF checked on the loading of spent-hens at a farm in south Netherlands. The birds were destined for a slaughterhouse in Poland. EonA team in Germany checked on German piglets heading to Romania by the Hungarian company Hunland (that we gave a welfare-workshop to 30 of its drivers last year).
