Total ban on exhibiting horses with docked tails at Dutch fairs
Our lobby has been successful; there is finally a TOTAL ban on exhibiting horses with docked tails. This was just announced by the Dutch Minister of Agriculture, Mrs. Schouten. Good measures against heat at poultry slaughterhouse GPS in Nunspeet
Last summer Eyes on Animals made an unannounced visit to poultry slaughterhouse GPS in Nunspeet. Behind the slaughterhouse, GPS has a woody area where trucks can stand in the shade. The heat protocol, that has been produced by the industry, fails to protect pigs from heat stress and is regularly being violated. Poultry slaughterhouse Storteboom took our advice into consideration on how they could improve their poultry containers and has now made positive changes. BREAKING: Major success in Turkey!
Eyes on Animals successfully organized getting a pneumatic stunner in place at a slaughterhouse so cattle will no longer have their throats cut while still sensitive to pain.
