Re-visit slaughterhouse Heinen
Today we again visited the slaughterhouse Heinen, which in 2016 took our advice and improved their restraint box. The restraint box was previously closed in the front but has now been "opened" so the pigs find it less scary to walk to the restrainer. Follow up Visit at Ivo Hendriksen slaughterhouse in Lichtenvoorde
Today we had a follow-up visit at the Ivo Hendriksen slaughterhouse in Lichtenvoorde. Ivo Lichtenvoorde mainly slaughters young pigs. During our last visit we witnessed pigs becoming frightened due to loud noises made by the metal gates.
