More improvements in Ghana to report on : after the UDS slaughterhouse in Tamale now the Cape Coast Campus slaughterhouse is using the captive bolts we gave them to stun the animals (cattle, shee, goats and pigs) before slaughter. We know slaughter is never a pretty site but imagine what it looks like when animals are left fully conscious while having their throats slit. We cannot stop animal slaughter today but we can decrease animal suffering. We are so relieved and proud of this big difference we managed to achieve together with WACPAW.
