WACPAW and EonA construct ramp at Olive Abattoir in Gbawe (Ghana) to reduce injuries

In a team effort, WACPAW (West African Centre for the Protection of Animal Welfare) and Eyes on Animals have constructed a substantial concrete ramp at the Olive pig abattoir in Gbawe. Norwegian duck farmer implements improved herding and catching method for ducks

Visit to Livestock trader and transport company Venneker

Today, we paid a visit to Venneker in Germany to brainstorm animal welfare improvements in pig transportation. Venneker's latest trucks are equipped with sprinklers and 60 fans to reduce heat stress.
