EonA again visited the Van Rooi pig slaughterhouse in Helmond during the first tropical day of this year. We were welcomed to come in and were able to see their adjustments to counteract heat stress. Follow-up visit Grossfurtner slaughterhouse after animal welfare improvements

Today Eyes on Animals paid a follow-up visit to Grossfurtner slaughterhouse in Sankt Martin (Austria). Following a visit by Eyes on Animals in 2017, Grossfurtner completely rebuilt its slaughterhouse to bring animal welfare to a higher level and significantly reduce the levels of stress among pigs. Further renovations at Kumasi pig abattoir, Ghana
