Animal welfare improvements at Baskent slaughterhouse in Sincan, Ankara
On April the 15th we visited Baskent slaughterhouse. The good news is that last week we checked on transport containers from the company Mantrans used to transport turkeys. The side doors can all be opened, turkeys can be accessed during transport which is good. Leeuwarden livestock market invests in improvements
Today an EonA team returned unannounced to the Leeuwarden cattle market to make sure unfit cows were not again arriving as we saw in August.
