Today we visited Feenstra, a non-intensive slaughterhouse (20 pigs per hour) in The Netherlands with Beter Leven Keurmerk. Today a team visited Westfort slaughterhouse in Gorinchem. This plant slaughters culled adult sows and boars, that were used for breeding. Due to today’s warm weather , Eyes on Animals decided to visit a public parking area where poultry trucks from Clazing slaughterhouse are known to park while awaiting their turn to unload.
