Today we got permission to see the bulls that have been stuck at the Turkish border for three weeks. They are well looked after, have sheltered stables, have fresh water and get (good) food regularly. In general, they are in good condition and people are trying to keep it that way. Unannounced visit to Leeuwarden veal market (NL)
Today Eyes on Animals made an unannounced visit to the veal market in Leeuwarden (NL) where on average 600-800 calves, between the age of 2-3 weeks, are sold for further fattening. Access to poultry during transport now possible with Stork’s new containers
On Monday June 8th Eyes on Animals visited Plukon poultry slaughterhouse in Maasmechelen (Belgium). The broilers are now being transported in a new container system from Stork company.
