The sheep market in Leeuwarden was visited today by two Eyes on Animals inspectors. We have visited the cattle market in Leeuwarden before, but it was the first time we went to the sheep market. On November 2010, Eyes on Animals inspected the annual Horse Market in Hedel for the first time and found a series of practices which were unacceptable. Today, Anna, an Eyes on Animals volunteer based in Poland, returned to the livestock market in Bodzentyn to continue her efforts of making people switch to using cardboard boxes instead of net-bags to transport chickens.
