Last year (2010), Eyes on Animals inspectors visited the annual horse market in Hedel and found a series of totally unexceptable cases of animal stress and suffering. Through Eyes on Animals´ findings there has been considerable media attention.
The organizers of this years´ horse market have, as a result of the findings and complaints made by Eyes on Animals, made a plan for this years forthcoming event, so as not to let the animal welfare problems of the previous year be repeated. Eyes on Animals was invited today to discuss the planning, along with the AID.
