In 2011 Eyes on Animals visited a weekly livestock market in Poland. We were shocked to see how poultry were placed into net bags (made for onions) and handed over like this to their new buyer. Today our team stopped by Tijs BV Haarle pig collecting and export centre. The owner, Tijs Haarle, let us know right away that we were not welcome. Today we went to visit Reimink’s livestock export centre in Dalmsholte. At the time of our visit, there were no animals. This is always a risk when you come to visit unannounced.
