Theory training of Polish official road inspectors (ITD) in Krakow

October 24, 2017

Theory training of Polish official road inspectors

Today in the office of Krakow Road Transport Inspection we gave a theory training on the European legislation protecting animals during transport. The group of over 30 inspectors was very active; they asked many questions related to the cases they encountered during their work on the ground. We are very happy with how dynamic the theory day is and are looking forward to … [Read more...] about Theory training of Polish official road inspectors (ITD) in Krakow

Practical training of Polish road inspectors (ITD) in Katowice - Żernica

The first stopped truck is empty, documents and construction are OK. The second one, a national pig truck, raises our doubts about loading density, but after careful calculations we see that there are no … [Read more...] about Practical Training of Official Road Inspectors (ITD) in Lublin – Day 4, Poland

Practical Training of Official Road Inspectors (ITD) Lublin – Day 3, Poland

April 5, 2017

Filthy conditions

Another long day on the road with the Road Transport Inspector (ITD) and Veterinary Inspectors. The first livestock truck we stop is empty, so we have a look inside a very well equipped swan-neck trailer - a great educating opportunity. Next, a short distance transporter is stopped. On board is a consignment of pigs whose condition makes us worried: they are dirty and … [Read more...] about Practical Training of Official Road Inspectors (ITD) Lublin – Day 3, Poland
