Today Eyes on Animals and TSB|AWF was in Pecs (Hungary) to give a training course to the road officials of the Hungarian National Transport Authority about the EU rules regarding the protection of animals during transport. The 35 road-inspectors from all over the region lively participated in the course and asked many questions on how to apply sanctions effectively to animal-transporters and organizers that caused animals additional stress. The education institution that coordinates these training-workshops for road officers published and distributed a brochure that was a combination of our educational material on the subject and their ambitions.
