Eyes on Animals participate in pig welfare workshop at the European Commission in Brussels

Day 3 of the Eyes on Animals International TASKFORCE meeting

On this last day of our TASKFORCE meeting, we headed out into the field. We visited two pig farms where the farmer had stopped with pig castration. Both farmers were very happy and satisfied with having stopped. They never want to go back to performing castration. Response to a concern about an injured fish

Eyes on Animals was informed of a badly injured fish that was floating in an Amsterdam canal but still breathing slowly. The fish had a deep bloody gash on his side. The man who found the fish said that the fish had been like this for already 24hrs and always in the same place (in between a boat and the side wall of the canal). Rescue of a goose on highway A7

While driving on the A7, Eyes on Animals investigators spotted 2 geese in the highway divider. One was dead, and her mate was staying faithfully at her side.
