Dutch goats stuck for 2.5 days at the EU/Turkey border
Eyes on Animals did its best to raise the alarm about 250 Dutch, mostly pregnant, goats which were stuck on board two livestock trucks at the EU border between Bulgaria and Turkey. AGRARCOOP (Hungary) doesn’t give us permission to do a follow-up check
On May 20 2014 an Eyes on Animals/AWF team was in Hungary and tried to make a follow-up check on AGRAGCOOP, a large farm/export centre that in 2012 still housed young calves in individual wooden crates, which were banned by the EU back in 2006!
