In May 2015 Eyes on Animals brought an unannounced visit to the slaughterhouse RKKB in Didam (NL). RKKB slaughters cattle and sheep, with and without stunning. We had a quick talk with the director. Dutch goats stuck for 2.5 days at the EU/Turkey border
Eyes on Animals did its best to raise the alarm about 250 Dutch, mostly pregnant, goats which were stuck on board two livestock trucks at the EU border between Bulgaria and Turkey.
