Appeal against decision of NVWA concerning wounded sows at Lunteren pig assembly centre

On March 8th, 2021 we found a truck parked at Lunteren assembly centre with two seriously injured sows onboard. We filed an enforcement request with the NVWA, but this was denied due to “lack of evidence”. Our objections against this decision were declared unfounded. Fine for VION pig-slaughterhouse in Boxtel due to long waiting times in summer heat

An enforcement request by Eyes on Animals resulted in a fine for VION pig slaughterhouse in Boxtel (NL). Upright chicken catching project on German and French TV

ZDF and Arte recently televised EonA’s project to reduce stress, pain and injuries by catching hens upright instead of upside down by one leg. It was aired on both German and French TV.
