During the heatwave in week 30, two journalists from the popular Dutch TV show EénVandaag joined Eyes on Animals to inspect poultry trucks. Temperatures were above 35 degrees that day. EonA visits Van Miert poultry slaughterhouse during heatwave

On Friday July 26 Eyes on Animals visited Van Miert poultry slaughterhouse in Breukelen. The temperature at 11am was already 36 degrees Celsius.  During our visit a poultry truck was parked directly in the sun, next to the slaughterhouse for 15 minutes. EonA visits poultry slaughterhouse GPS during heatwave

On Thursday July the 25th Eyes on Animals made an unannounced visit to poultry slaughterhouse GPS in Nunspeet (NL). At the time of our visit (12:00) the outside temperature was 34,4°C in the shade and 37°C in the sun, with a relative humidity of 35%. EonA visits Storteboom poultry slaughterhouse during heatwave

Today a team from Eyes on Animals made an unannounced visit to poultry slaughterhouse Storteboom in Putten (NL). EonA team visits poultry slaughterhouse Remkes in Epe (NL) during heatwave

Today our team visited poultry slaughterhouse Remkes in Epe. Remkes mainly slaughters broiler-breeders.  Remkes has a covered parking area near the slaughterhouse where poultry trucks can park in the shade. Amsterdam House Hotel
Eyes on Animals main office is in downtown Amsterdam, at the Amsterdam House Hotel. The generous and warm-hearted hotel owner donated to Eyes on Animals, free of charge, a beautiful room where our inspectors can work, hold meetings and store their material.
