Immediately after a visit from Eyes on Animals during the summer heatwave, Compaxo rented, and then purchased several fans to reduce heatstress in pigs held on stationary trucks waiting for slaughter. The fans were placed next to those trucks waiting in the lairage and in the vicinity of the slaughterhouse. We advised Compaxo to elevate some of the fans in order for the air to reach the pigs on all tiers of the trucks. We want to thank Compaxo for working on these improvements.
