A positive video message from Asalet (Eyes on Animals Turkish trainer and inspector) in Samsun, Turkey where he just worked in a second abattoir in the region interested in lezrning how to stun animals. In English he says: “Hello friends, Eyes on Animals and HAYTAP were at Bafra Slaughterhouse in Samsun. Here, we gave a training course on stunning the animals during slaughter instead of slaughtering them while fully conscious. We have demonstrated that an animal can be stunned in two milliseconds. The employees and owners were enthusiastic about this stunning method. We hope that the owners that bring in their animals to be slaughtered here will always question their hearts when slaughtering an animal in the future and always slaughter more humanely. We are spreading the stunning method throughout Turkiye and hope that it will soon be practiced everywhere (so cattle, sheep and goats at least suffer much less).
