Today we gave a training workshop on the EU animal-transport legislation to the Regional Veterinary Inspection in Katowice, as they requested. This is our first training for Veterinary Officials in Poland, we are very pleased that our training-courses for the ITD (Polish Road Transport Inspection) are having such a broad effect. 100 Veterinary Officials are participating (Regional Veterinary Inspection, District Veterinary Inspections from the whole region, and official veterinarians from the region), and 40 ITD inspectors, who came to refresh their knowledge after our September training for them. The training lasted 6 hours and included some theory and many practical examples. It was concluded by a working group exercise that focused on our recent footage of a lamb transport from Poland. We received very positive feedback.
