Last month, thanks to Aziz from Orkinos and HAYTAP, we were invited to train the workers of a cattle slaughterhouse near Ordu on how to use a stunner and then we leased one out to them for free. Now, 4 weeks later during a follow-up visit they continue to stun the cattle. What a huge real difference this makes for the animals. Eyes on Animals is so grateful to Aziz and all our new activist friends in Turkey that we met at the HAYTAP annual congress for helping in exposing, and reducing, the intense suffering inside most abattoirs in Turkey.
