The Dutch consumer television show “RADAR” gives an update on the successful effect our horse-meat investigation has had (illustrating horrible suffering of horses during transport and slaughter on the American continents and the meat then exported to the Netherlands). Many Dutch supermarkets and snack producers have stopped importing horse meat from abroad and the EU has even banned horse meat from Mexico, where conditions were extremely alarming.
Eyes on Animals and partner organization TSB/AWF and AA USA will not be satisfied until there is a full stop on the import of this meat coming from horrible sources. We will continue to meet with food companies to persuade them to stop fully. Click HERE to watch the RADAR update.
