Today, together with the French NGO Welfare, Eyes on Animals trained the gendarmes of Arras on the EU legislative requirements to protect animals during transport.
The group was very motivated and already had some experience in inspecting livestock trucks.
After the theory lesson, we headed onto the highway together to stop and check on livestock trucks passing by, and apply sanctions when necessary.
We would like to thank the gendarmes of Arras for this invitation and to Animals Angels which also run these trainings in France but could not be present today.
