Today the trainers from Eyes on Animals, Welfarm and Animal Welfare Foundation were invited to train 23 highway and border police-officers from Hajdu-Bihar county. The training took place at the border-station in Artand, near Romania. Unfortunately during the practical session no livestock trucks passed by, but we used the time to discuss real-life scenarios and what actions they could take. We listened to their concerns and will assist them in developing communication with the official veterinarians of the area so that they have a strong back-up.
