Today a theory training was given by an EonA/AWF team to the Hungarian highway police in the county of Komarom-Esztergom. It was attended by 10 policeman, amongst them also the chief of the police station.
The policemen that attended the training course where very interested in learning the European animal-transport legislation so that they can check on livestock trucks. They have told us that they frequently see poultry-trucks on their roads and they want to do something about it as they have seen birds in very poor condition.
We are planning a practical training with these officers in the very near future.
