Today, together with the Road Transport Inspectorate of Bydgoszcz that participated in the theory presentation yesterday, we waited along a national road near Bydgoszcz. All livestock trucks passing by were pulled over and thoroughly checked, including this poultry one. We thoroughly inspected all the birds loaded in the stacked crates and spotted this broiler stuck on his back with his neck twisted. We succeeded in turning him right-side up. He was breathing fast but seemed so thankful. The driver did not think that he was responsible, only the chicken catchers. The ITD gave him a serious warning for next time, that he must check that all birds are fit and in a comfortable normal position before leaving the farm.
