Ongoing investigation into animal treatment at slaughterhouses

For the past 2 days, an Eyes on Animals team has discreetly observed several slaughterhouses to a) check if the European animal slaughter legislation is being respected and b) to check if conditions are acceptable when no one is officially watching. Fortunately we have nothing illegal yet to report but it is part of a long ongoing investigation.
