Today Eyes on Animals met with MPS at our office. MPS stands for “Meat Processing Systems” and is a company that builds slaughterhouses all over the world and has its headquarters in the Netherlands. We exchanged ideas and knowledge about best-practices and problems that we have seen in the field (in Europe, Turkey and Canada) and how they could be improved on. MPS regularly meets with people in the slaughter industry and gives advice, so this type of “brainstorming” meeting can be very important to improve conditions during slaughter.
