Today Eyes on Animals was invited by the Dutch Minister of Agriculture, M. Van Dam, together with members of the Dierencoalitie, to discuss animal-welfare issues that need priority. We made sure the topic of export to third countries and the import of unweaned calves was brought forth. Mr. Van Dam assured us that some things indeed need to be improved on and that he would help make that a reality. We would like to thank him, as well as the members of the Dierencoalitie, for such a compassionate discussion.
