Big compliment for catching teams who catch and load the chickens upright

For several years, EonA has been busy training several catching teams to catch poultry according to the upright method. Gemril was the first to start with this method, for which we are grateful. The catching teams of Van den Broek, Den Ouden, Jekal and Pots soon followed. We would like to thank the managers of these catching organisations for the fact that they wanted to start with this method.

We try to be present at every catching night, so we can assist the catchers and help as much as we can. After the initial doubt and start-up problems we now see that the catchers get more and more used to this method. It goes very well now; most catchers are serious and are really trying their best to handle the chickens softly but efficiently. 

EonA is very grateful for their contribution and wants to make this known, not only on the catching nights but also via this Good News article.

In de jaren '90 doet de overheid een poging de varkensstapel in Nederland met een kwart te verkleinen, om het mestprobleem aan te pakken en de kans op herhaling van de varkenspestramp te minimaliseren.
