Training of the Hungarian highway police in Szombathely (HU)

August 23, 2012

23.08.2012_HU_police_training_Szombathely__8

EonA, together with AWF and our Hungarian colleagues at Welfarm gave a theory-training to Hungarian police officers in Szombathely near the Austrian border. The aim of these trainings is so that the Hungarian police can learn how to enforce the EU animal-protection-during-transport legislation so that animal suffering be reduced and transport companies not respecting the law be penalized. 16 police officers participated. The officers were motivated, and because many livestock trucks pass through their region, plans are in the works to inspect livestock trucks together, during a practical training, this coming fall.

#brandbrief https://www.varkensinnood.nl/zerotolerance?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=slachthuizen-2023
