As part of the EonA/AWF Hungarian police training program, our team worked together with the Budapest highway police on the highway M1.
Three livestock trucks were spotted and stopped. One of the livestock trucks was in violation of the council directive 1/2005 on the protection of animals during transport. The pigs on board were overcrowded. The policeman issued a notification for the violation found. On the basis of these official notifications the fines are than issued. Since the destination was very close the truck was allowed to continue.
