Eyes on Animals assists in the rescue of an abandoned dog in France

September 14, 2009

dog

Although this is not our normal work, Eyes on Animals could not ignore this plea for help. A dog in southern France had been abandoned and the British tourists that found him and were feeding him were desperate to find a good home for him. The dog was thin and very shy, and had been wondering the streets looking for food and shelter. A wonderful family responded to our advertisement (that was also distributed by Vier Pfoten to their members) and decided to adopt him. Today we picked him up from southern France and brought him to his new owners. Together with Nick, Lidwien, Louie and Maria this rescue was made possible.
