Today Eyes on Animals, at our own request, met with two employees of Storteboom 2Sisters Food Group. The purpose was to find out whether Storteboom could be of help with contacting chicken catching teams. EonA would like to investigate how chickens are caught and loaded into transport crates and, if necessary, give welfare-workshops to these catching teams. During the meeting employees of Storteboom informed us about their company and how transparent they are. We looked at possibilities for working together. At the end of the conversation they promised us they will talk to chicken catching companies before the 15th of July, in order to enable EonA to watch the catching and loading of chickens at the farm. It has been difficult so far to get invited to this. We thank both managers of Storteboom for their hospitality and willingness to help us with this.
