Dit gebeurt vaak wanneer pluimvee te ruw en te snel wordt geladen, en van een afstand in kratten of containers wordt gegooid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eenmaal op hun rug komen de dieren, door hun zware (borst)gewicht en de hoge beladingsgraad, vaak niet meer overeind. In die houding kunnen ze slecht ademhalen (ze hebben geen middenrif) en worden ze regelmatig vertrapt door soortgenoten. Bovendien zijn kratten en containers \u2013 eenmaal gestapeld op de truck \u2013 niet meer makkelijk te openen. Ook heeft de NVWA een&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvwa.nl\/binaries\/nvwa\/documenten\/export\/veterinair\/ks-documenten\/werkvoorschriften-dierwelzijn\/sl-tp-wlz-wv-01-bijlage-11-beoordelingskader-rugliggers\/SL-TP-WLZ-WV01-b11+-+beoordelingskader+rugliggers+v1.pdfatgpt.com\"><em>beoordelingskader rugliggers<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;opgesteld, dat sinds 1 november 2024 geldt voor alle pluimveeslachterijen met permanent toezicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deze stap betekent niet alleen dat er eindelijk actief op rugliggers wordt beboet, maar ook dat pluimveevangploegen hun ruwe werkwijzen moeten aanpassen.
