Vandaag bezocht het WACPAW\/EonA team Bodom in de Ghanese Bono East regio om ons educatieprogramma over dierenwelzijn voort te zetten, in samenwerking met Mariah Walton (USAID Peace Corps vrijwilligster). We hebben 60 boeren, waaronder 16 boerinnen, betrokken bij het delen van praktische manieren om het welzijn van hun boerderijdieren te verbeteren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De boeren waren open, leergierig en beloofden hun dieren humaner te behandelen. We hebben ook boerderijen ge\u00efnspecteerd en advies gegeven over het verbeteren van het welzijn van varkens en pluimvee. De boeren waren dankbaar om voor het eerst dierenwelzijnsfunctionarissen te ontmoeten en voelden zich gesterkt om positieve veranderingen door te voeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
