Professor Dr. Duygu Dalg\u0131n (directeur van Acisiz Kesim ngo in Turkije) was ook hierbij aanwezig. Nebyan Meat steunt het idee om dieren vooraf te verdoven voor halal vlees, omdat dieren veel minder lijden als ze eerst bewusteloos raken. Ze willen volledig gebruik maken van captive bolt-verdoving. Vandaag hebben we ze een verdover gegeven die ze gaan gebruiken op de dieren die ze slachten voor hun vleeswinkel. Ze hebben geen eigen slachthuis, maar slachten wekelijks vele lammeren in verschillende steden in Turkije. De dierenarts, de heer Ali, zal de verdover altijd bij zich hebben en ons filmpjes sturen waarop te zien is hoe hij deze gebruikt, zodat we er zeker van kunnen zijn dat alles goed gaat. Ze zijn volledig toegewijd.
