Vandaag interviewde hij twee islamitische theologen (Dr. Prof. Hayri K\u0131rba\u015fo\u011flu en Dr. Prof. Ilhami G\u00fcler) over de vraag of dieren bewusteloos kunnen worden gemaakt v\u00f3\u00f3r het slachten en dan nog steeds als Halalvlees kunnen worden beschouwd. Beiden verklaarden dat er geen belemmering is in de Islam om verdoving toe te staan. Ze zeggen dat het de dierenarts is, met expertise op het gebied van dierenwelzijn, die de beslissing moet nemen om dieren al dan niet te verdoven, niet de Islamitische theologen.
