Dr. Ellen Eser, Spezialistin f\u00fcr humane Schlachtmethoden und Tier\u00e4rztin aus Deutschland war bei dem Treffen dabei. MPS ist ein gro\u00dfes Unternehmen das weltweit Ausr\u00fcstungen f\u00fcr konventionell und rituell (halal und koscher) schlachtende Schlachth\u00e4user herstellt. Ihr Hauptsitz ist in den Niederlanden. Sie haben von mehreren Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrern niederl\u00e4ndischer Schlachth\u00e4user mit denen wir zusammen arbeiten geh\u00f6rt, dass wir uns darum Bem\u00fchen das Leiden und den Stress f\u00fcr Schlachttiere zu verringern. Sie wollten zu einigen Konstruktionen ihrer Anlagen unsere Meinung h\u00f6ren. Wir haben die Gelegenheit genutzt und angeregt, dass sie eine bessere R\u00fcckhaltemethode f\u00fcr die Tiere beim rituellen Sch\u00e4chten entwickeln sollten. Die gegenw\u00e4rtigen 180\u00b0-Rotationsboxen und das Hochziehen an einer Kette bei vollem Bewusstsein sind einfach nicht akzeptabel. K\u00fcrzlich hat MPS eine Rotationsbox an ein neues Schlachthaus in die T\u00fcrkei verkauft. Wir haben ihnen erkl\u00e4rt, dass wissenschaftlich erwiesen ist, dass R\u00fcckhalteboxen mit einem Bauchlift deutlich weniger Stress f\u00fcr die Tiere bedeuten. Vom Wesen eines Beutetieres machen diese nat\u00fcrlich mehr Sinn. MPS wird versuchen, hierf\u00fcr eine neue und bessere Methode zu entwickeln. Eyes on Animals favorisiert trotz allem das Bet\u00e4uben vor der Schlachtung. Aber solange Tiere noch in vielen Teilen der Erde aus religi\u00f6sen Gr\u00fcnden ohne vorherige Bet\u00e4ubung gesch\u00e4chtet werden, ist es unsere Aufgabe, wenigstens das Leiden der Tiere w\u00e4hrend des gesamten Schlachtvorgangs zu verringern.
