Siehe Bericht vom 14. Dezember. Diesen Morgen sind wir eingeladen, den derzeitigen Schlachtvorgang anzuschauen. Wie bereits angek\u00fcndigt, handelt es sich um einen sehr veralteten Schlachthof. Im Treibgang sind L\u00f6cher die St\u00fcrze verursachen k\u00f6nnen. Die Futtertr\u00f6ge sind zum Teil gebrochen. Danach wird das Rind nach oben gezogen, so dass der Kopf erst auf dem Boden aufschl\u00e4gt und dann zum Liegen kommt. Eine Kiesschicht \u00fcber einer Drainage erm\u00f6glicht das schnelle Reinigen. Asalet erkl\u00e4rt ihm, weshalb B\u00f6den trittfest, Gatter hoch genug, Laderampen ebenerdig sein m\u00fcssen uvm&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Der Betriebsleiter und die Schlachter sind f\u00fcr das vorherige Bet\u00e4uben der Tiere. Sobald die t\u00fcrkische Bev\u00f6lkerung Akzeptanz daf\u00fcr zeigt, m\u00f6chten sie zur Bolzenschussmethode wechseln.<\/p>\n<p>Heute beobachten wir die Schlachtung von drei zahmen Milchk\u00fchen. Die Mitarbeiter f\u00fchren die Tiere in den Schlachtraum. Die Tiere folgen ihnen bereitwillig. Als ihnen die Kette um das Hinterbein gelegt wird, bleiben sie ruhig stehen. Das Personal soll zudem durch die VHSD geschult werden. Diese wird von der RSPCA aus Gro\u00dfbritannien finanziert.
