Wir besuchten zwei Schweinebetriebe deren Bauern mit der Ferkelkastration aufgeh\u00f6rt haben. Beide Bauern waren froh und zufrieden dass sie die Ferkelkastration abgeschafft haben. Sie m\u00f6chten auf keine Fall die Ferkelkastration wieder einf\u00fchren. Beide Betriebe benutzen auch keine Einzelboxen f\u00fcr Zuchtsauen, sondern bevorzugen die Gruppenhaltung auf Stroh.<\/p>\n<p>Wir besuchten auch den Schlachthof Westfort, der als einer der ersten Betriebe mit der Schlachtung von kastrierten Schweinen aufgeh\u00f6rt hatte. Der Betrieb hat professionelle Schn\u00fcffler eingestellt, die den Ebergeruch erkennen und diese aussortierten Schlachk\u00f6rper werden dann f\u00fcr vorgekochte Produkte verwenden (durch das Kochen verschwindet der Ebergeruch).<\/p>\n<p>Die Mitglieder der Taskforce lernten, wie diese Verbesserungen stattgefunden haben und wie sie diese auch in ihren L\u00e4ndern einf\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen.
