Nachdem die Kollegen im vergangenen Jahr mit WACPAW und uns vor Ort in Ghana zusammengearbeitet haben, haben sie erkannt, wie wichtig der Einsatz vor Ort ist und welche Wirkung solche direkten Aktionen haben. Nun besuchen sie die Viehm\u00e4rkte, um das Tierleid zu verringern. Vor ein paar Monaten haben sie die Gefl\u00fcgelh\u00e4ndler auf dem Wochenmarkt in Kabirizi dar\u00fcber aufgekl\u00e4rt, dass man Gefl\u00fcgel nicht kopf\u00fcber h\u00e4ngend am Lenker eines Mopeds transportieren sollte. Sie haben den Gefl\u00fcgelh\u00e4ndlern empfohlen, die Tiere stattdessen aufrecht in K\u00f6rben zu transportieren, die hinten an ihren Mopeds befestigt sind. Denn Gefl\u00fcgel hat kein Zwerchfell und leidet extrem, wenn man es kopf\u00fcber h\u00e4lt. Jetzt transportieren etwa 65% der H\u00e4ndler auf dem Markt die H\u00fchner in K\u00f6rben auf dem R\u00fccksitz ihrer Mopeds. Wie kleine Ma\u00dfnahmen vor Ort das Leiden verringern k\u00f6nnen!
