Es war f\u00fcr uns zu weit weg und zu teuer, um vor Ort zu sein, aber Asalet erl\u00e4uterte per Video, wie das Leiden der Tiere in t\u00fcrkischen Schlachth\u00f6fen verringert werden muss und wie wichtig es ist, die Tiere zuerst zu bet\u00e4uben, bevor man sie an einem Bein hochzieht und ihnen die Kehle durchschneidet. Bet\u00e4ubungsger\u00e4te sind in der T\u00fcrkei noch relativ unbekannt und werden dort nicht eingesetzt. Die Tiere werden normalerweise bei vollem Bewusstsein fixiert, angekettet, umgeworfen, hochgezogen und ihnen wird dann die Kehle durchgeschnitten. Aber wir \u00e4ndern dies langsam. In diesem Schlachthof in der N\u00e4he von Kahta wird jetzt auch ein Bet\u00e4ubungsger\u00e4t eingesetzt.
