Der Schatten wird dazu beitragen, das Risiko von Hitzestress f\u00fcr die Tiere, die an Bord der wartenden Lastwagen sind, zu verringern. Der \u00fcberdachte Parkplatz bietet Platz f\u00fcr 3-4 LKW. Auch Ventilatoren und Wasservernebler wurden entlang des Daches installiert, um die Temperatur zu senken. Die Ventilatoren schalten sich bei Temperaturen \u00fcber 22 Grad automatisch ein. Die Wasservernebler schalten sich automatisch ein, wenn die Temperatur 25 Grad erreicht. Der Temperaturunterschied zwischen der Au\u00dfentemperatur und der Temperatur unter dem Dach des \u00fcberdachten Parkplatzes betr\u00e4gt mehr als 5 Grad. Das macht einen gro\u00dfen Unterschied f\u00fcr die Schweine, die in den Lastwagen warten. Gr\u00f6\u00dfere Unterbringungsm\u00f6glichkeiten und mehr Entladerampen tragen dazu bei, Wartezeiten zu verk\u00fcrzen.
