Bis vor Kurzem wurden kranke Ziegenkinder nicht immer behandelt. Es gab eine erforderliche Wartezeit von mindestens 28 Tagen aufgrund der Medikation. Mit anderen Worten, die Zicklein k\u00f6nnen erst 28 Tage nach der Behandlung geschlachtet werden. Die meisten Ziegenkinder werden jedoch sehr jung (im Alter von 1 bis 5 Wochen) geschlachtet.
