{"id":29767,"date":"2020-01-03T22:37:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-03T21:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eyesonanimals.com\/further-renovations-at-kumasi-pig-abattoir-ghana\/"},"modified":"2020-01-28T12:36:07","modified_gmt":"2020-01-28T11:36:07","slug":"further-renovations-at-kumasi-pig-abattoir-ghana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eyesonanimals.com\/de\/further-renovations-at-kumasi-pig-abattoir-ghana\/","title":{"rendered":"Weitere Renovierungen im Schweineschlachthof Kumasi, Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dank einer gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen Spende von&nbsp;Varkens in Nood&nbsp;f\u00fcr unsere kontinuierlichen Bem\u00fchungen, einen sehr problematischen Schweineschlachthof in Kumasi (Ghana) zu verbessern, waren WACPAW (West Africa Center for the Protection of Animal Welfare) und Eyes on Animals in der Lage, vergangene Woche nach Kumasi zur\u00fcckzukehren, um die Arbeiten an der Infrastruktur fortzusetzen, die wir im vergangenen Oktober begonnen hatten.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Seitenw\u00e4nde des neuen Laufgangs und der\u00a0R\u00fcckhaltebox\u00a0sind jetzt stabil gemacht worden, um das Treiben zu erleichtern, Angst zu verringern und das Risiko, dass Tiere feststecken, zu senken. Die schlechte Nachricht ist, dass einige Arbeiter weiterhin Schweine \u00fcber die Seiten der\u00a0Wartepferche\u00a0werfen. Aber die bessere Nachricht ist, dass die meisten Schweine bet\u00e4ubt werden. Dazu verwenden sie die Bolzenschussger\u00e4te, deren Gebrauch wir erl\u00e4utert und die wir ihnen \u00fcberlassen haben,\u00a0anstatt sie wie zuvor zu Tode zu schlagen. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein langfristiges Projekt, dass Geduld erfordert.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man kann solche Jahrhunderte alten, schrecklich schlechten Gewohnheiten und alte Methoden nicht \u00fcber Nacht \u00e4ndern.\u00a0Wir m\u00f6chten dem Management der Firma Kumasi daf\u00fcr danken, dass es die Augen ge\u00f6ffnet hat und motiviert ist, sich zu verbessern. Dank auch an die Arbeiter, die eifrig zuh\u00f6ren und bereit sind, sich zu ver\u00e4ndern. Und nicht zuletzt gilt unser Dank den hart arbeitenden, engagierten M\u00e4nnern von WACPAW, die, zusammen mit Eyes on Animals, nicht weg schauen oder
