Seit 2014 haben wir in der T\u00fcrkei Fortbildungskurse f\u00fcr Schlachthauspersonal, Hersteller von Schlachtausstattung und Tier\u00e4rzte \u00fcber Nutztierverhalten, Intelligenz und die Bedeutung der Verringerung des Tierleids w\u00e4hrend der Schlachtung gegeben.<\/p>\n

Helmaks, ein gro\u00dfes t\u00fcrkisches Unternehmen, das R\u00fcckhalteboxen f\u00fcr Schlachth\u00f6fe herstellt und sie in der ganzen T\u00fcrkei und den meisten islamischen L\u00e4ndern weltweit verkauft, war nach unserer ersten Konferenz inspiriert, eine \u00c4nderung vorzunehmen. W\u00e4hrend dieser Konferenz zeigten wir einen Film und erl\u00e4uterten deutlich, warum Fall-Boxen, die man in Schlachth\u00e4usern in der gesamten Islamischen Welt antraf und die immer noch sehr popul\u00e4r sind, unmenschlich waren, weil sie schwere Schmerzen und Angst bereiten. https:\/\/youtu.be\/On-qkoXeKwc<\/a>.\u00a0Wir zeigten auch Beispiele von humaneren, alternativen R\u00fcckhaltevorrichtungen, die kein Hochziehen lebender Tiere erfordern und so weniger Panik verursachen. Gegen Ende 2015 beschloss man bei Helmaks, die Produktion von Fall-Boxen komplett zu stoppen.<\/p>\n

Jetzt haben sie gerade eine eigene aufrechte R\u00fcckhaltebox fertiggestellt, bei der die Rinder nicht mehr gezwungen werden niederzufallen oder an einem Bein vom Boden hoch gezogen zu werden. Stattdessen k\u00f6nnen sie in ihrer normalen Position stehen bleiben, bevor sie get\u00f6tet werden. Und jetzt sind es nicht mehr Eyes on Animals und TSB\/AWF allein, die Menschen in der Fleischindustrie der islamischen L\u00e4nder \u00fcber mehr Tierwohl und humanere M\u00f6glichkeiten schulen, sondern jetzt macht dies Helmaks auch.<\/p>\n

Wenn Kunden nach Trip-Flor-Boxen fragen, erl\u00e4utert Helmaks, dass diese nicht l\u00e4nger erh\u00e4ltlich sind und empfehlen ihnen, stattdessen die Boxen zum Aufrechtstehen zu w\u00e4hlen, die kein schmerzhaftes Hochziehen der Tiere bei lebendigem Leib ben\u00f6tigen.<\/p>\n

Die Schlachtung von Tieren ist nie ein einfaches Thema und wird niemals tierschutzfreundlich sein.
